Math 3/4 - Saxon Accelerated
School Year (September 8, 2026 to May 28, 2027)
Math 3/4 - Saxon Accelerated moves ambitiously through two years of math in one, covering the most important lessons from Saxon Math 5/4 and Saxon Math 6/5. Highly proficient math students do not require as much of the repetition offered by Saxon that most students do. These students will benefit from learning essentially two years of math in one, taking advantage of their math aptitude. The course strengthens skills in whole numbers, computation, and fractions while introducing key concepts in geometry and measurement. Students will develop problem-solving strategies, sharpen mental math, and explore number patterns that are a reflection of God's order and consistency in creation. With a focused approach, the course ensures students grasp each concept before moving forward. By the end of the year, students will be well-prepared for their next steps in math with confidence and skill. This course aims to help math-minded students realize their potential.
