Recommended for 3rd and 4th graders, Saxon Math 54 builds on foundational math skills while introducing more complex concepts that prepare students for higher levels of math in the late Grammar stage. Mathematics is a reflection of God's order and consistency in creation, demonstrating His unchanging nature. Students will explore whole number concepts, computation, geometry, and measurement, recognizing how these concepts are all related. Homework will average 2-3 hours per week reinforcing concepts and encouraging independent learning.
