French IV

French IV focuses on a variety of works of French literature in their entirety, exploring several time periods and French-speaking countries. Students will read four original texts and discuss them in the target language. This level also focuses on listening comprehension and culture while reviewing and refining students' knowledge of the grammatical structure of the French language. Homework will average 4 - 6 hours per week.

Prerequisites

Minimum age of 15 on the first day of class. Successful completion of VSA French III or comparable course in the previous 24 months is strongly encouraged.
