Latin Readings - Virgil

This course assumes the student has achieved a significant level of proficiency in Latin grammar and is ready to read unadapted Latin texts with a focus on Virgil and Caesar. The course follows an AP curriculum and will prepare students to take the AP Latin test in the spring. This course is eligible for dual enrollment credit for junior and senior students. Homework will average 4 -­ 5 hours per week

Minimum age of 14 on the first day of class. Successful completion of VSA Secondary Latin II or comparable course in the previous 24 months is strongly encouraged.
