Polyglot Club
Καλ'ημερα! ¡Hola! Salut! !שָׁלוֹם 안녕하세요! Guten tag! Modeled as a safe and vetted version of popular online language exchange marketplaces, Polyglot Club is an opportunity to share your native languages with those who are learning them and explore the languages you are learning with other VSA students. This is an opportunity to use your language skills to make friends, make mistakes, and explore the world of (multiple) language learning. We will examine a few styles of alphabets, hear language samples from around the world, consider how languages fall into families, and most of all we will practice having conversations. Check your hubris at the door, there is no pressure for grades and perfection here! Just be willing to jump into your languages, however advanced or new you are with them, with both feet!
2nd and 4th Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET Exact schedule will be released in September. Club begins in October. VSA Clubs are only open to currently enrolled students.Price: $99.00
Prerequisites
VSA Secondary Clubs are only open to currently enrolled students who are in 7th grade through 12th grade for the 2023-2024 academic year.
