Greek I

This course is an introductory level course. It will provide an overview of the basics of Greek grammar and vocabulary. Students will learn grammar and vocabulary by reading several Greek stories and then answering comprehension questions. They will demonstrate their understanding of the language by writing several Greek compositions. Finally, students will translate passages in the New Testament, aiding them in their understanding and interpretation of Scripture. This course is eligible for dual enrollment credit for junior and senior students. Homework will average 2 - 3 hours per week.
