Grammar and Writing 4 Classical Academic Press
Building on concepts learned in Grammar and Writing 3, students will use Well Ordered Language to take their next steps into English grammar by identifying the parts of a sentence and further understanding how words operate in sentences. Students will actively engage with the concepts in each lesson, using reading, writing, speaking and listening. Physical movement, songs, and chants are used to enhance learning.
Students will also use Writing and Rhetoric Book 3: Narrative II Program and Writing and Rhetoric Book 4: Chreia and Proverb Program to develop the skill of distinguishing between fact and opinion. A step-by-step approach will have students identifying the characteristics of historical narrative. This course is particularly good for students who have had only an introductory or limited grammar or writing background. Homework will average 2-3 hours per week.
