Geography - South
This class includes the study of the continents and oceans, Africa, and the Middle East. The curriculum used in the course features Mr. Latitude and Mr. Longitude, who will take students on a trip throughout Africa and the Middle East with Peter Pan. Their adventures include pirates, magic carpets, treasure, mermen, jinni, a spider, a sphinx, and even a hippopotamus. Students will explore the culture of each area of study while learning the capital city and location of each country. Song memorization will help students remember the countries in each specific region. Homework will average 1-2 hours per week.
