Computer Programming Club
The purpose of the club is to learn how to write computer programs, starting from the basics and building up to 2D computer games you can play and share with your friends. We'll use the Python programming language and the Pygame 2D game engine. We'll also discuss topics of interest like how CPUs work, how web servers and browsers work, relational databases, HTML, other programming languages, and other computing topics of interest.Club will be led by VSA parent David Erickson. 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET Exact schedule will be released in September. Club begins in October. VSA Clubs are only open to currently enrolled students.
