Latin - Grammar 4
Building on Latin - Grammar 3, this course continues basic instruction in Latin. Students will continue learning vocabulary (including Latin roots), grammar, pronunciation and translation. Students will learn new vocabulary each week, to conjugate verbs and expand their learning of basic Latin grammar. Teaching will include a variety of means including worksheets, games, chanting, tests, and oral and written translation work. Continual learning of Latin in grammar school is fundamental to mastering language in general and serves as the paradigm discipline of the grammar stage in classical education. .Recommended for grades 4-6. Minimum age of 9 and maximum age of 13 on the first day of class. Successful completion of VSA Latin - Grammar 3 or comparable course in the previous 24 months is strongly encouraged.
