Jay Stigdon

Stigdon_jay_faculty Dr. Stigdon recently moved to a small farm in his home state of Indiana where he and his wife plan on raising goats, ducks, bees, and chickens now that their three children are grown. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education from Crossroads Bible College, a Master’s degree with high distinction from Liberty University, and an Ed.D. from Grand Canyon University. He came to faith in Christ on January 16, 1996 at 1:30 in the afternoon after decades of reading Nietzsche and seeking truth anywhere he might find it except the one place it can be found in totality. After the irresistible, gracious work of The Holy Spirit, the two main catalysts for his conversion were Veggie Tales and a co-worker who basically argued him into a corner. Once he realized that Christianity alone adequately addresses the “big questions” of life, Dr. Stigdon has been dedicated to studying Scripture and equipping other Christians to understand, articulate, and defend their faith while building an increasingly biblical worldview. <
