Greg Jenks is a professor in the Literature and Philosophy departments of Saddleback College Emeritus Institute in Southern California. He has served as a missionary in Italy, as a professor at Moody Bible Institute—Spokane, and has taught Greek to future Bible translators at Dallas International University. After trusting Christ at age 15, he became an avid reader of Christian literature and, after he graduated from high school, he studied at a Bible school in Germany for a year, then earned his B.A. in Bible from Columbia International University in South Carolina and a Th.M. and Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Greg and his Italian wife, Angela, love entertaining guests and sharing all things Italy with them. They also travel, camp, and Greg loves open-water swimming in the Pacific Ocean. They have a passion for the church in Italy and are actively involved in efforts to spur the gospel’s advance in that country. Greg is naturally curious, loves hearing people tell their stories, reads a lot, goes on fly fishing expeditions, and seeks adventure wherever he can find it.
