Rich Weber received his Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Marquette University in 2002. Prior to this, he completed an M.A. in Christian Thought and an M.Div. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. From 2002 to 2018 he taught Systematic and Historical Theology at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. While serving primarily as a professor in the Undergraduate School, he also created and taught online courses in Systematic Theology for Moody Distance Learning from 2009 to 2016. He has taught adjunct courses for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and The King’s College and Seminary. Between 1994 and 2001, he served as Director of Worship Ministries at three churches in Illinois and Wisconsin. His interests include drinking good coffee, reading, music, drinking more coffee, family genealogy, cycling, the Chicago Cubs, and drinking coffee. He is a self-confessed homebody, preferring an evening in the company of his wife, Kathrin, their two teenage children, and Velcro the cat.
