Kevin Seekell is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, also holding a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. He has worked for Coventry Public Schools as a classroom instructor and department chair for twenty-one years, where he taught math, coding, and coached soccer. Mr. Seekell has served as a coach to local homeschool teams competing in Robotics competitions and has worked as a contractor for various standardized testing companies, writing and reviewing math items for large-scale assessment products. As long-time residents of Charlestown, Rhode Island, he and his wife Amy are parents to Caleb, Emily, Isaac, Abigail, and Fred and attend Perryville Bible Church, where Kevin currently serves as worship leader and Sunday School teacher. Having been called to a knowledge of Christ as his Savior at a young age, Mr. Seekell has a desire to teach and disciple his own children as well as other young people to "walk in the manner worthy of your calling" (Eph 4:1). He and his wife homeschool their children and enjoy being able to educate them from a biblical perspective, highlighting the artistry and majesty of God’s creation. Mr. Seekell enjoys soccer, basketball, hiking/camping, and participating in cross-country obstacle course events.
