Jack Klein lives just a stone’s throw from the Beartooth Mountains in Billings, Montana – recently awarded “Best City in America'' by Outdoor Magazine. Mr. Klein grew up there but left to teach high school math, science, and Physical Education in Guam, the Republic of Palau and Laurel, Montana before embarking on a 23-year career as an Air Force officer navigating the KC-135 and teaching postgraduate courses for the Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army, Coast Guard, and Department of State. He’s an avid musician, athlete, and coach of several sports, currently serving as head coach of a local Christian School/Homeschool soccer team. He’s also coached baseball, volleyball, football, and speech/debate. But most importantly, he’s the delighted husband of Susan (also a VSA Geometry teacher) and father of six, most of whom are college graduates or on their way. At VSA Mr. Klein previously taught Precalculus, Physics, General Science, and Physical Science. But, as nearly a three-decade homeschooling father, he’s taught everything from basic composition to Omnibus through countless homeschool coops and with his own children. He’s eager for Christians to embrace the glory of God as illustrated in math and science. God speaks this language. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University-Billings in Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in Physics. He also has a really cool “Air Warfare” master’s degree from American Military University. And, it is widely believed he plays the best music before each class!
