Alyssa Reaves has had the heart of an educator from an early age when she would play school with her sisters. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Arizona Christian University and a M.Ed. as a Reading Specialist from Liberty University. The Lord opened doors of opportunity for her to teach in a variety of grades in her home state of Arizona before calling her to take her educator heart overseas. She spent two years teaching in a Christian international school in Japan before meeting her Marine Corps husband and moving back to the states. Since then, as a Marine spouse she has lived in three different locations and has used her educational background in a variety of ways, including mentoring other teachers and homeschool moms, private tutoring in reading and writing, leading Bible Studies for young women, and offering private piano lessons in her home. In her free time, she enjoys walking along the beach with her husband, early morning workouts, drinking good coffee, and building relationships with other women. Alyssa feels honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with parents and provide her students with a quality education from a biblical worldview.
